The first floor of the Consortium Museum, usually dedicated to temporary exhibitions drawn from the collection, will host the second edition of The Wing from 13 May 2026.

For this new chapter, the museum’s directors have entrusted this “wing” of the building to two artists closely connected to the institution, both of whom have previously exhibited there: Tobias Pils and Joe Bradley. This carte blanche takes the form of an exhibition entirely conceived by the two painters, who temporarily assume the role of curators.

Following the first edition in 2023, Paysage, featuring Alyne Harris and Hans Kruckenhauser, Tobias Pils and Joe Bradley now present La Mer, bringing together works by Hawkins Bolden (1914–2005, Memphis, United States) and Tillman Kaiser (born 1972, Graz, Austria).

"La Mer

A room between silence and loudness. Between void and abundance. The space between us.

Two sculptures gazing at each other.
Imagine them breezing like ebb and flow."

— Tobias Pils et Joe Bradley
